Tom graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Accounting and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the US Army. He served 2 years as a Platoon Leader in the 3rd Armor Division in Frankfurt, Germany. After an honorable discharge from the military, he began his career in banking as a bank examiner with the Comptroller of the Currency in the New Orleans area.
Tom served for many years as President/CEO of a community bank in La Place, LA where he organized and managed a very successful mortgage operation. With his extensive knowledge of the banking and mortgage industry, Tom offers a comprehensive understanding of the needs of senior citizens in their retirement years. He is dedicated to helping homeowners aged 62 and up manage their home equity using a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage, commonly referred to as a HECM or Reverse Mortgage. After years of being an avid runner, Tom now enjoys the important things in life, spending quality time and cooking for all of his family and friends.
